Philly Beer Scene is looking for local artists. We are currently hosting two different design contests that are open to anyone living in the greater Philadelphia area (anywhere that the magazine is distributed). Here’s the details:

Comics:

For the past three years, we’ve featured a comic in the magazine featuring D-Lite. Well like we just said, it’s been three years so we think it’s time to change it up and we want to give our readers another opportunity to be a part of the magazine. Starting in the August/September issue, we are going to feature a craft-beer inspired comic from a different artist each issue. If your comic is chosen, we’ll send you a Philly Beer Scene t-shirt and a 2012 Commemorative Print. To be considered, please submit a high-res image of your comic to comic@beerscenemag.com. Please include all of your contact info as well.

T-shirt Design:

We’re looking to put out some new t-shirts and are holding a contest to figure out what the next t-shirt will be. The contest starts today and all submissions will need to be submitted by August 1st. The only requirement is that it must include our logo in some form. The t-shirt can be one sided or both front and back. Entries can be submitted to tshirt@beerscenemag.com. Please include all of your contact info with your submission. The winning entry will receive 10 shirts to give out to friends and family and a guest spot in an upcoming Tasting Room. A full run of the winning t-shirt will be made and they will be available for sale in our online store and at our stand at various beer festival.

The logo may be hand illustrated, but if you need a copy of the logo, please e-mail the above address to request one.

*Please note: by submitting any artwork to this contest, you are giving us full consent to use it in the means listed in each contest.*
